Dale L. Hammer, of Wrightsville, passed away on January 5, 2025 one day before his 94th birthday. He was the husband of the late Olivene "El" Thomas Hammer with whom he was married 61 years until her death in 2012. A lifelong Wrightsville resident, he was the son of the late Paul and Thelma Houseal Hammer.

Dale retired in 1994 after 22 years of service from Donsco, Inc. where he worked as a pattern rigger and was an avid Phillies fan.

He is survived by his children, George Bayman (Deb); Jeanne McCarthy (late Charles); Steven Hammer (Donna); Michael Hammer (Kimberly); eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren and sisters, Nancy Floyd and Lorraine Shovlin. He was preceded in death by his son, Alan Hammer, grandchildren, Jackie Hake, Steven Hammer, Jr. and siblings Joyce Ort and James Hammer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside service in the Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville PA on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jerry Schmidt, officiating.
