He loved to travel, with his favorite destinations being Italy and Fatima, and was an avid Notre Dame fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St., Columbia, PA on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass.

Dennis M. Jennings, 79 of Wrightsville passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was the husband of Mary Louise Keyser Swarr Jennings with whom he was married for 27 years, and the late Barbara Grab Jennings. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late H.M. and Lorraine Hohman Jennings.

A graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1964 he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force with the 193rd Tactical Command and received his honorable discharge as a Tech Sergeant in 1976. He retired after 32 years of service from Burnham Boilers as an over the road truck driver. Denny was a faithful member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Columbia and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2294. He loved to travel, with his favorite destinations being Italy and Fatima, and was an avid Notre Dame fan.

In addition to his wife are his son, Dennis Rodriguez (Marlene); step daughter, Tracy Hossler (William); three grandchildren, Mykal and Cassandra Rodriguez and Caitlin Hossler Orr (Alex); and an aunt and several cousins. Denny was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Gene Jennings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St., Columbia, PA on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Augustine Joseph, Celebrant. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
