Elam Eugene Faus

Elam Eugene Faus, 72, of Landisville passed away on March 24th, 2019. He was born in Lancaster to the late Richard Frey Faus and Edna Martin Faus and was a lifelong resident of this area. Elam was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School with the Class of 1964. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with tours in Pleiku Vietnam. He later continued to serve fallen veterans with his involvement in the Vet 21 Salute Honor Guard. Following military service, he purchased Lancaster Blueprint Company in 1970 and operated it with his wife until 2006. Elam was active in his community and was a Past President of the former Hempfield Optimist Club, charter member of the Manheim Township Jaycees, and Past Master of Masonic Lamberton Lodge #476, 32° Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Lancaster, Lodge of Perfection, and Harrisburg Consistory. He was also an active member of the Mount Joy American Legion Post 185, Mount Joy VFW Post 5752, the Lancaster Elks Lodge #134, and the Red Rose Pistol Club. Elam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend who adored his family.
Elam is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Constance “Connie” McCoy Faus of Landisville; his daughters, Janice, wife of the late Michael Corrigan of Annapolis, MD, Jennifer Sebelist, fiancé of Chris Fulginiti of Manheim Township; four grandchildren, Conor and Maura Corrigan, Jillian and Katherine Sebelist; a sister, Gloria, wife of Frank Gappa of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Elaine Erb.
Services for Elam will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 247 Main St, Landisville, PA 17538. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29th, 2019 and also one hour prior to services on Saturday. Burial, with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
