Memorial Service: Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM

Francis M. “Mike” Krow, 74, of Mountville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Kay Reiff Johnson Krow with whom he was married nine years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry G. Sr. and Margaret Weaver Krow.

Mike graduated from Columbia High School in 1962 and retired in 2006 after 45 years of service as a supervisor from Hamilton Precision Metals, Lancaster. He was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church, Lancaster and was a longtime and active member of the Columbia Jaycees. In addition, he was a member of the Lancaster County Corvette Club and enjoyed model railroading. Mike also coached baseball for 15 years with the West End Athletic Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his son, M. Edward, husband of Heather Krow; three granddaughters, Amanda, Emily and Lea; stepchildren, David Johnson, Marc Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Sarah Hillyard and eight step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry G. “Bud” Krow, Jr. and sister Phyllis Zangari.

A memorial service will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA 17512 on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin E. Readman, officiating. Private interment will be held in Conestoga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Mike’s name to the memorial fund of Covenant U.M. Church, 110 N. Mulberry St. Lancaster PA 17603.
