Harry E. Davis

Harry adored his family and will be missed for his endearing sense of humor.

In honor of Harry’s final wishes there will be no formal services and any future services will be announced by his family.

 

Harry E. Davis, 78, of Lancaster passed away on January 10, 2024. He was born in Mifflintown town to the late Harry, Jr. and Gertrude Davis and lived most of his life in this area.

Harry was a graduate of McCaskey High School with the Class of 1963 and proudly served in the United States Navy as a store keeper and chaplains assistant. Following his service, he worked with the family car business, Davis and Son’s, and also as a salesman with Sears. Most recently, Harry was a retail manager with That Fish Place until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and Philadelphia Eagles Football. Harry adored his family and will be missed for his endearing sense of humor.

Harry leaves behind his wife of sixteen years, whom he loved with all his heart as she also loved him, Stacy Davis of Lancaster; four sons, Mark, husband of Tina Kline of Lancaster, Chris, husband of Sabrina Davis of Holtwood, Nathan Snellbaker, companion of Heather Weaver of Hershey, Andrew Snellbaker, companion of Becky Wiseman of Wrightsville; two grandchildren, Ty and Ryan; two great grandchildren, Nilah and Nash; his best friend Dennis, husband of Terri Rhoads of Willow Street; many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Robert, Lenore, Joanne, and Anna.
