June A. Myers

June was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.

In honor of June’s final wishes, there will be no formal services.

June A. Myers, 85, of Kinderhook passed away on November 14, 2022. She was born in Columbia to the late Fred and Minnie Siegrist Kemmick and was a lifelong resident of the area.  June worked for Armstrong for many years until her eventual retirement. June found her joy sitting by the pool, soaking up the sun, and smoking her cigarettes. June also loved traveling with her sisters and visiting the casino as often as possible. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.

June leaves behind her daughter, Joanne, wife of Wayne Harnly of Kinderhook; her grandchild, Crystal, wife of Glen Schaeffer of Columbia; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Reece Schaeffer of Columbia; her companion, Ken Shaud of Kinderhook; two brothers and one sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Myers in 1994;  grandsons Brian  and Eric Zeller; and five of her siblings.

In honor of June’s final wishes, there will be no formal services. She will be laid to rest with her late husband in Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, June’s family requests that you remember her by visiting the casino and playing the slot machines!
