L. Evelyn Ohrel, 95, of Columbia, passed away on December 25, 2018 at Paramount Senior Living, Maytown. Born in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Zeeda Hess Ferguson.

Along with her family, she owned and operated Andy's Market in Columbia. Evelyn was a member of the Columbia Presbyterian Church and enjoyed puzzles, cross stitching, the mountains and spending time at her daughter Marie's river cottage.

She was the wife of the late Anthony E. Ohrel. Sr. and is survived by her children, Anthony E. Jr. husband of Donna Ohrel; David J. husband of Stacy Ohrel; T. Walter Ohrel; Marie, wife of Claude "Booty" Myers, Jr.; Jacqueline wife of Richard Mackey; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; and a brother, Rev. John Ferguson; She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sherry Myers and siblings, Lewis, Thomas, Aileen Still and Alma Jackson.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Columbia PA with the Rev. David Powers, officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Compassionate Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill PA 17011.
