She was known to enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Marlene M. Kulp, 91, of Lancaster passed away on November 26, 2024. She was born in Bainbridge to the late Paul and Ethel Smith and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Marlene was a graduate of theformer Bainbridge High School and worked with IU13 until her eventual retirement. She was known to enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends. As well as playing cards and cookouts, especially at the beach in Chincoteague, VA. Marlene was a faithful parishioner of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church where she was active with the Women’s Club, Cub Scouts, and the Republican Party. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.

Marlene leaves behind her husband of sixty-six years, Earl Kulp, Jr. of Lancaster; two children, Rosanne, wife of John Ruhl of Columbia, Patrick Kulp of Mount Joy; four grandchildren, Justin Ruhl, Erica Ruhl, Andrew Kulp, Nathan Kulp; three great grandchildren; a brother, Paul, husband of Barbara Smith of Mount Joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Michael Kulp.
