Matt enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved playing with his nephews.

Matthew O. Travitz, 35, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. He was the son of (late) Harold and Grace DiBiase Travitz.

Matthew enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and crabbing. He liked to travel; one of his favorite trips was a cruise he took to the Bahamas. He was a movie buff, and avid dog and cat lover. He had a special bond with his dog, Fiona. Matt was humorous, always joking around and making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved playing with his nephews. Matt was known to have a huge heart and touched many others with ease. He will be missed by so many people who he made a difference in their lives.

Matt is survived by his mother, Grace Travitz; his siblings, Marlene London, Mark and his wife Cassie Travitz, and Johnathan Travitz; half-brothers, Harold and Tony Travitz; and his nephews, Anthony, Hunter, Joseph, Elijah, and Hayden. He was preceded in death by his father.
