Richard M. "Richie" Floyd

Richie was an old soul with a heart of gold who went out of his way to make sure his family and friends got together and were taken care of.

celebration of Richie’s life will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Rose’s Deli and More, 13 N. 4th St, Columbia, PA 17512.

 

Richard Michael Floyd “Richie”, 25, of Columbia, passed away on December 11, 2024. He was born in Lancaster to Richard and Shelley Floyd and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Richie was a graduate of Penn Manor High School with the Class of 2016. He worked most recently with Smith’s Hotel and Rose’s Deli and More. Richie was an old soul with a heart of gold who went out of his way to make sure his family and friends got together and were taken care of. He loved the Baltimore Ravens, old cars and movies, but above all loved his family and treasured spending time with them.

Richie leaves behind his parents, Shelley Floyd of Columbia, Richard S. Floyd of Lancaster; four siblings, Nathan Johnson of Tennessee, Anthony Betz of Landisville, Matthew Floyd of Columbia, Kailey Floyd of Columbia; two nephews, Asher and Christopher Betz of Landisville; a large extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Deborah Bower.

A celebration of Richie’s life will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Rose’s Deli and More, 13 N. 4th St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family wishes that attendees may drop in anytime between these hours.
