Thelma M. Howe

Known to be handy, Thelma was talented in carpentry and could work her way through electrical systems.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at Holy Trinity Cemetery

Thelma M. Howe, 89, of Columbia passed away on April 11th, 2021. She was born in Columbia to the late Frank and Jennie Hohenadel Howe and was a lifelong resident of this area. Thelma attended and graduated from Columbia High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force where she was a part of the women’s softball championship team. Following her service, she worked for RCA for a number of years until her retirement. Known to be handy, Thelma was talented in carpentry and could work her way through electrical systems. She was a lifelong and faithful Catholic who loved and adored her family. 

Thelma leaves behind her brothers, Charles, husband of Pat Howe of Elizabethtown and Jim, husband of Chris Howe of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Lively and Jane Nau.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Columbia. If attending, please practice necessary precautions.
