William Baughman, 69, of Bainbridge, formerly of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care. He was the husband of Yvonne Derr Baughman with whom he was married 52 years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Jean Baughman Dolby and stepson of George Dolby.

He retired in 2014 after more then 30 years of service from the Armstrong Ceiling Plant, Marietta. Well known in Marietta civic circles, Bill was active in the Marietta Fire Police and for many years served as the borough dog catcher.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his daughters, Melissa, wife of John Auten; Shelby, wife of Todd Sweigart; Nicole, wife of Tom King; two grandchildren, Dayna, wife of Cory Mays, Joshua Haubert; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Caydence, Emily; brother, Barry Dolby; sister, Mary Nein.

A funeral service will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may view at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Kindly omit flowers.
