Bonnie will be laid to rest with her late husband at Prospect Hill Cemetery in York

Bonnie L. Ryan, 80, of Landisville passed away on January 12th, 2021. She was born in York to the late Frank and Erma Sprenkle Snyder and was a lifetime resident of this area. Bonnie worked for many years with Giant Food Stores in the deli. She lived a simple life and was loved by many. She was always there when someone needed her and willing to give whatever she had to give.

Bonnie loved to read, do puzzles, play cards, watch MASH, HGTV and game shows, flowers, gardening, scratch off lottery tickets, going on bus trips to Atlantic City, and being with her family. Bonnie’s family meant the world to her. She adored and cared for her six grandchildren, Jennifer O’Neil Black wife of Howard Black, Michael O’Neil, Timothy O’Neil husband of Lindsey, Jesse Herman, Nichole Barnes and Ian Seifried and ten great grandchildren, Lexi Young, Olivia Herman, Austin O’Neil, Jenna Brenner, Aiden Davenport, Mason Brenner, Keira O’Neil, Avery O’Neil, Alyssa Caplinger and Dustin Caplinger. Bonnie also leaves behind her daughter, Tammy, wife of Rick Seifried of Landisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ryan in 1981 and her daughter Deborah O’Neil in 2008.

Bonnie’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Tonya Leahy, Joni Yarnall and her Hospice Care team, Mandy, Christina, Jasmine and Donna for all the excellent care given to Bonnie over this past year.

Tammy would like to personally thank her husband, Rick, for all of his love, support and caring for both mom and her. Additionally, she cannot thank her family and friends enough for all their help, love and support! 

Due to Covid a memorial life celebration will be later this year, please contact Tammy if you would like to be notified of the celebration.
