Cathy will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in a private graveside service.
Cathy J. McKain, 60, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on April 24th, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Columbia to Gladys and the late Harvey Ness. Cathy married Robert L. McKain on February 9th, 1985.
She was the 2nd oldest of eight children including five sisters and two brothers. Cathy was very social and well loved by everyone. In addition to raising her family, she did work outside the home at New Standard Corp.
Cathy leaves behind her husband Robert L. McKain, III of Elizabethtown; her son, Anthony McKain of Elizabethtown; her daughter, Kimberly McKain of Mount Joy; her mother, Gladys Ness of Columbia. Cathy, known as “Nana”, also is survived by four grandchildren: Deiondre, Geno, Jeremiah, and Airiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey in 1990.
