Chester R. Arnold III

Chet served in the United States Army for several years before settling down with his family in Columbia.

Chester R. Arnold III, 61 of Columbia passed away March 31st, 2022, surrounded by his children after a hard-fought battle with an illness. He was the son of both the late Chester R. Arnold Jr. and Amaryllis Arnold (Gipe).
Chet served in the United States Army for several years before settling down with his family in Columbia. He worked as a tow motor operator at Donsco for 20+ years and then continued doing the same job at Intellicore printing company for 10+ years till he was no longer able to work. He took pride in the work he did.
Chet will be missed by his four children Chester G. Arnold, Dorothy Arnold, Timothy Arnold and Samantha Arnold: his two daughters in law Summer Small and Kimmy Yingst. Chet was blessed to be called Grandpa/ Pop Pop by his four grandchildren Azalea, Kirra, Tim Jr and Kendall. He also loved his fur grandkids Grou, Georgia, Zara and Jax. He is also survived by his brother Alan and sister Colleen along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chet was a man of few words until it came to talking about his kids and especially his grandchildren. He proudly served his country and worked hard his whole life. One of his favorite things in life was getting to play with his grandkids. He loved his family and grandchildren more than anything.
