Skip’s joys in life were many; he loved spending time with his family and he loved the outdoors. He enjoyed 57 years of marriage with the love of his life, Linda (Everly) Keim. Skip enjoyed fishing on the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers, and hunting with his lifelong friend Jim Burger.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Columbia.

Cornelius J. Keim, III

Cornelius (Skip) Joseph Keim III, beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and friend passed away peacefully at age 79, and entered into eternal peace on May 10, 2020.

  Skip was born in Columbia, Pa, to the late Cornelius and Helen (Campbell) Keim. He graduated from Columbia High School and served his country proudly aboard the USS Harlan R Dixon. Following service to his country, Skip earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and attained his Certified Public Accounting license. He was a long time business associate with the Walborn Shambach Accounting firm.

Skip’s joys in life were many; he loved spending time with his family and he loved the outdoors. He enjoyed 57 years of marriage with the love of his life, Linda (Everly) Keim. Skip enjoyed fishing on the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers, and hunting with his lifelong friend Jim Burger.  He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and volunteered at Good Shepherd Catholic School serving lunches to the students and delivering bread to the Bethesda Mission.

In addition to his loving wife Linda, Skip is survived by his three children; Letitia Luvison (Tom), of Lewisberry, PA; Neal (Donna-Jean), of Cary, NC; Janice Duquette (David), of Reading, PA., and eight grandchildren; Kyle (Samantha), Emily, and Sara Luvison; Joshua and Matthew Keim; Derek, Isaac, and Nathan Duquette; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Reagan and Grant Luvison.   He is also survived by three sisters Bernadette (Jerry) Evans, Elizabeth (Lester) Graham and Odilia (Jack) McDonald.

Skip was preceded in death by parents Cornelius Jr. and Helen Keim, infant brother Joachim Keim, brother Gerard Keim, and sisters Maryanne Reisinger and Mauritia Murry.

Skip’s family would like to express their thanks to the caregivers at Arden Courts of Susquehanna for their compassion and kindness during his stay with them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 409 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA 17512 at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 26th with graveside service to follow at Laurel Hills Cemetery in Columbia.
