Craig Michael Diehl, 68, passed away on September 27, 2023. Craig was born on July 24, 1955 in Columbia, PA to the late Daniel and Erma Diehl. Craig is survived by his brother, Ronald Diehl and his wife Carol; two sons and their spouses, David and Lynn Diehl, Chris and Sherri Diehl; ex-wife and close personal friend, Kathy Diehl, and two grandchildren, Alicia and Connor Diehl. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Diehl and his wife Lyda, and a grandson, Michael Diehl.

Craig’s childhood in Columbia was a happy one, full of adventure and fun. After graduation, he attended trade school to become a tool and die maker, retiring from the field in 2014. He had a variety of interests during his life that included ham radio, biking, and technology. Craig knew “how things worked” and often got calls from others regarding how to handle computer problems and repair most household appliances. He loved all of his family but especially enjoyed having fun and teasing his grandchildren. His love of hawks made him feel a special connection to his mother when he spotted one. We now think of him, and others we have lost every time we see a hawk.

Arrangements are by Clyde W. Kraft Funeral home. Services will be private. A time to visit with Craig’s family and a short prayer service will take place on Saturday, October 7th at Yorkana Fire Hall (42 Main Street, Yorkana, PA 17406) from 11:00 to 1:00. Lunch will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Craig’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army.
