Goobs loved hanging out with friends and family and visiting the Foresters in Columbia where he enjoyed playing darts and shuffleboard.
A celebration of Goobs’ life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Foresters’ of America, 201 Locust Street, Columbia, PA.
He will be laid to rest at Mount Bethel Cemetery.
Dale Peters, Jr. “Goobs”, 60, of Columbia passed away on January 12, 2025. He was born in Columbia to the late Dale, Sr. and Linda Groff Peters and was a lifelong resident of Columbia.
Goobs attended Columbia High School and worked as a painter. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Goobs loved hanging out with friends and family and visiting the Foresters in Columbia where he enjoyed playing darts and shuffleboard. He had a good heart and always loved helping strangers, family, and or friends no matter where he was or what he was doing.
Goobs leaves behind four siblings, Keith Peters of Columbia, Craig Peters, husband of Christine Vo of Columbia, Todd Peters, husband of Vivian Pham of Marietta, Tonya, wife of Denny Feltch of Columbia; five nephews, four nieces, two great nieces, and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
