To her family, she was a fierce lioness that protected her family. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who treasured spending time with her family.
Celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Columbia. The family will receive friends and visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Darlene Marie Altland, 55, of Columbia passed away May 8, 2022. She
was born in Harrisburg to Betty Habecker Morrison and the late Melvin
Habecker and was a lifelong resident of this area. Darlene attended
Lower Dauphin High School and was last employed by DAS Distributors.
She enjoyed family gatherings and visiting the beach, especially Nags
Head, NC. To her family, she was a fierce lioness that protected her
family. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter,
and sister who treasured spending time with her family.
Darlene leaves behind her husband and partner of twenty-seven years
Donald Altland; four children, Dennis Habecker, Lisa Fitzpatrick, fiancé
of Hope Fulton, Justin Fitzpatrick, companion of Amy Maloney, Victoria
Altland, companion of Hykeem Glenn, all of Columbia; three
grandchildren, Conner and Carter Fitzpatrick, and Jordan Markley; her
mother and step-father, Betty Habecker Morrison, wife of Ricky
Morrison of Middletown; three siblings, numerous nieces and nephews
and a large extended family. Darlene was preceded in death by her
father.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday,
May 21, 2022 at the Clyde W. Kraft funeral Home. 519 Walnut St,
Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation
beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers please
