David P. "Smitty" Smith, Sr., 60, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Until the time of his illness, he was employed for many years as a machine operator at Anvil Inc. in Columbia. He was a member of the 521 Club and enjoyed extreme HO motorcycle riding.
He is survived by his children, Steven L. Smith; Brandy L. wife of Victor Ihenyen; Tiffany A. Smith and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David P. Smith, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia, PA 17512 on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dave's memory may be made to the 521 Club, 2400 Butler Road, Lancaster PA 17601.
