She was a foodie who enjoyed cooking and also camping and traveling, especially to Key West and Jamaica.

Deborah Kay Herr, 70, of Marietta passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born in Columbia to the late Robert and Jane Swingler and was a lifelong resident of this area. Known to everyone as Deb, she was a graduate of Donegal High School with the Class of 1971 and went on to graduate from the former St. Joseph’s School of X-Ray Technology.

Deb worked with Community Services Group for thirty-six years before her retirement. She was a foodie who enjoyed cooking and also camping and traveling, especially to Key West and Jamaica. Deb was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.

Deb leaves behind her children, Jeremy Herr of Marietta, Emily, wife of James Dubendorf of Red Lion, Lori, wife of Keith Combs of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Jason, Andrew, Austin, Gabrielle, Roman, Scarlette, Mason, and Ryleigh; four great grandchildren; several cousins and a large extended family.
