Elizabeth A. Cunningham, 83, of Wrightsville, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2018. She was the wife of Spurgeon H. Cunningham, Jr. with whom she was married for 65 years. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Clyde M. Sr. and Anna Mann Shaud.
She retired in 2000 from Jandy Apparel, Hellam, where she worked in the shipping department for many years. She was a member of the Longstown United Methodist Church, was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, are her sons, Steven A. Cunningham; David H. husband of Debra Cunningham; daughters, Diane E. wife of Steven Peters; Bonnie S. Cunningham; four granddaughters; three great granddaughters; one great grandson; brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Shaud; sisters, Barbara McCleary and Marsha Keller. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde M. Shaud, Jr. and three grandsons.
A memorial service will be held from the Clyde E. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA 17512 on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Pastor Laura E. Hulsey, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family request casual attire. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elizabeth’s name to the Longstown U.M. Church, 2975 Carol Road, York PA 17402 or to Heartland Hospice of York, 3417 Concord Road, Suite C., York PA 17402 would be deeply appreciated.
