Geraldine E. “Gerri” Hess, 69, of 112 S. 4th St. Columbia, PA died on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Michael L. Hess.
Gerri retired from Administration for the former Kahn-Lucas Manufacturing Co. in Columbia.
Born in Columbia she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie McCauley Weaver. Surviving besides her husband is daughter, Jennifer Shoemaker of Columbia and a grandson, Luke of Columbia. She was predeceased by 5 brothers.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia, PA on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00AM with Rev Fr. Daniel C. Mitzel, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11AM.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial Contributions in Gerri’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church 409 Cherry St. Columbia, PA 17512.
