Trudy adored her family and treasured spending time with them at family get-togethers.

Gertrude “Trudy” Schoenenberger Eisenberger

Trudy, 92, of Columbia, passed on to Heaven on September 25th, 2020.  Trudy is survived by a son Mark A. Eisenberger and his wife Dyan of Columbia, and a daughter Beth A. Rohrer, and her husband Dudley G. Rohrer of Manheim. Trudy was born in Columbia and graduated from Columbia High School with the Class of 1945. She was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Mountville.

She adored her family and treasured spending time with them at family get-togethers. Trudy loved her four grandchildren Amy Bailey, Audrey Gerold, Geoffrey Rohrer with wife Katlyn (Gerlach) and Johanna Rohrer. The six great- grandchildren, Jimi Griffith, Aliya Gerold, Brooke and Jack Bailey, Kora and Karalyn Rohrer brought her much joy and laughter!

Trudy loved and was loved by many friends and extended family. Her joyous nature affected everyone she knew. She liked to travel, square dance, and play the organ. She sang in the church choir and held tea parties for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks to all her caregivers, volunteers, friends and family who cared for her over the past six years during her health issues and decline. You are appreciated.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael W. Eisenberger as well as her husbands, Abram L. Eisenberger and George Ansalvich, and her parents Rudolf Earnest and Therese and brother, Earnest Schoenenberger.

A private graveside service will be held at the discretion of the family.
