Heather Renee Gower

Heather Renee Gower, 32, of Washington Boro, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Maria & Brian Kanach of Boyertown and Dennis & Monica Gower of Canton.
At the time of her death, Heather was employed by Johnson Controls as an industrial technician. She was a graduate of Millersville University where she played rugby and after graduation coached the Millersville Women’s Rugby Team. She was a member of the Blue Rock Fire and Rescue Company and the American Legion Post 34. Heather loved river life along with fishing and duck hunting.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by partner Tedi Carbaugh; grandparents John & Carole Kanach, grandmother Beverly Walters; siblings, Hayley Kanach, Timothy Gower (Renee), Joshua Gower, Jesse Gower (Haley); nephews, Hayden, Leighton Gower; uncle, John Thornton (Sherri); aunts, Nikki Thornton, Stephanie Kanach; cousins, Brittney Wilcox (Tanner), Jamie Kanach (Collin), Nichole Kanach, Theresa Blanton (Zack), Michaela Thornton, Ronan Wilcox, River Kanach; best friend Eric Reisinger, John Meacham.
