Huey worked for many years as a crossing guard for Columbia Borough Schools and you could see him smiling and waving to people at the corner of Cherry Street.
A celebration of Huey’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 26, 2025 at First Assembly of God, 4696 Breezyview Dr, Columbia, PA.
Huey Embry, 78, of Columbia passed away, surrounded by his family, on February 7, 2025. He was born in Pell City, AL to the late Ethel Lee Embry and was a resident of Columbia for more than fifty years.
Huey worked for many years as a crossing guard for Columbia Borough Schools and you could see him smiling and waving to people at the corner of Cherry Street. He was a devoted believer in the Lord and faithful member of First Assembly of God Church in Columbia.
Huey leaves behind his daughter, Valerie, wife of Barry Bradley of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Lindsey, wife of Sean Vasquez of Columbia, Jasmine Bradley of Lancaster, Avery Bradley of Lancaster; two great grandchildren, Julian and Ezekiel Vasquez of Columbia; two siblings, Blossie Smith and Benjamin Embry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Embry, his son Terrance Parker, and a brother Patrick Embry.
A celebration of Huey’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 26, 2025 at First Assembly of God, 4696 Breezyview Dr, Columbia, PA 17512.
