John K. (Tim) Reitzel

A private military service will be held at Ft Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Friday, May 24.

John K. (Tim) Reitzel passed away peacefully on May 19, 2019, at age 89. He was the son of the late Jacob and Rosanna (Aston) Reitzel. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Torbert), his daughter Amy, wife of Jim Swartz, and his son John, husband of Wendy. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jeff Barninger, Zachary Reitzel and Alexandra (Reitzel) Mazza. He was preceded in death by his sisters Elizabeth Cooper and Stephanie Groft.

John proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Following his service, he worked at Hamilton Watch, Olmstead Air Force Base, and ITT Grinnell. He will best be remembered for his love and dedication to his family.

A private military service will be held at Ft Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Friday, May 24. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
