Lee loved reading and movies; he was known to attend the theater weekly.

Services for Lee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Silver Spring Cemetery

 

Lee Irvin Noffz, 76, of Columbia passed away on December 22, 2023. He was born in Columbia to the late Carl and Sarah Noffz.

Lee was a graduate of Hempfield High School with the Class of 1965 and proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 – 1973. Following his service, he worked as an electrical engineer with the former Bowen McLaughlin York, now United Defense and General Dynamics before his retirement. During his career he graduated from Penn State University with a degree in electrical Engineering. Lee was an avid Penn State fan especially Nittany Lions football. WE ARE! He also enjoyed hunting and visiting his family’s cabin in Clearfield County. Lee loved reading and movies. He was known to attend the theater weekly. Lee was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who adored his family and treasured spending time with them.

Lee leaves behind his wife of fifty-six years Carol Noffz of Columbia; two children, Chris Noffz of Mountville, companion of Holly and Lori, wife of Darren Husted of Landisville; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Noffz of Lancaster, Megan and Brandon Husted of Landisville; Brother-in-law, Bobby, husband of Karen Rummel of Lititz; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jay Noffz.

Services for Lee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Silver Spring Cemetery.
