Michael Scott Wilkinson, 59, of Columbia passed away on April 27th, 2019. He was born in Columbia to the late George and Mary Zink Wilkinson and was a life long resident of this area. Scott attended Donegal High School and was a jack-of-all trades that worked for himself. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Scott adored his family and though he was known to be stubborn, he will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Scott leaves behind his daughters, Kelly Wilkinson, companion of Cosme Muniz, Jr. of Mountville, Crystal Wilkinson, companion of Michael Davis of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren and one on the way, Ayliciana, Ivan, and Julian; six siblings, Diane O'Brien, wife of Curt O'Brien of Columbia, Donna Derstler, companion of Gary Cook of Columbia, Barry Wilkinson of Columbia, Gary Wilkinson of Mount Joy, Greg Wilkinson of Mount Joy, Dave Wilkinson and wife of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bethann in 1981 and a nephew, David P. Smith in 2006.
In honor of Scott’s final wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
