Renee Cannon

Renee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cousin who adored her family and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512. All other services will be private.

Renee Cannon, 61, of Columbia passed away on February 25th, 2021. She was born in Harrisburg to John and Edwean Thames and was a graduate of the former William Penn High School with the Class of 1977. Renee loved dancing to music and being an active walker. She enjoyed solving puzzles and baking, especially her sweet potato pie. Renee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cousin who adored her family and treasured spending time with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Columbia. 

Renee leaves behind her daughters, Tamika Meredith, fiancé of Joseph Brown of Wesley Chapel, FL, Tanisha Cannon, fiancé of Jeremy Procise of Columbia; six grandchildren, Jaquan, Jaleesa, Tiren, Jeremy, Jr., Taliyah, Lanae; her mother, Edwean Thames of Collinsville, MS; her father, John Thames of Harrisburg; three brothers, Wayne, Mike, and Carl Thames; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Michael Cannon in 2017.

A public visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512. All other services will be private. If attending any events, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ann B.
