She enjoyed singing and shopping at thrift stores and yard sales with her late sister Beverly.

Services: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 247 S. Market St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

She will be laid to rest with her family at Mount Tunnel Cemetery.

Shirley A. Boltz, 92, of Elizabethtown passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on November 20. 2022. She was born in Columbia to the late Henry and Anna Schlossman Zercher and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Shirley attended and graduated from Columbia High School and attended beauty school shortly after. She met the love of her life, Robert Boltz, at a local movie theater and they were married in 1954. With Robert in the military, Shirley got to travel to many places around the world before settling back down in this area. Shirley worked for many years as a payroll clerk before her eventual retirement from Hershey Farms. She enjoyed singing and shopping at thrift stores and yard sales with her late sister Beverly. Shirley was a faithful member of Christ Church United Church of Christ.

Shirley leaves behind her son, Scott, husband of Nancy Boltz; three grandchildren, Megan, wife of Kyle Rhoads, Brittany, wife of Luke Peffer, Brandon Boltz; three great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Talon, and Everleigh all of Harrisburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Boltz, her son Michael Boltz, and her sister Beverly Testa.

Services for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 247 S. Market St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest with her family at Mount Tunnel Cemetery.
