She was an avid Miami Hurricanes football, Seattle Seahawks, and Duke basketball fan who also enjoyed weekend cookouts with family and attending her son’s sporting events.

Tracy L. Watterson, 62, of Columbia passed away on March 28, 2025. She was born in Columbia to the late Donald and Lucille Brady and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Tracy was a graduate of Donegal High School and proudly served in the national guard. She was an avid Miami Hurricanes football, Seattle Seahawks, and Duke basketball fan who also enjoyed weekend cookouts with family and attending her son’s sporting events. Tracy was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Tracy leaves behind her son, Chris “Hoagie” Watterson of Columbia; her two beloved granddaughter, Mackenzie Watterson and Lillian Wickenheiser both of Columbia; sister-in-law, Kim Byerly of Columbia; ex-husband, Dennis L. Watterson, Sr. of Des Moines, IA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis L. Watterson, Jr. in 2020.
