Russell Alan Miller

Russ had a love of music and cars along with the uncanny ability to name any song playing as well as the years it was released.

memorial service on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kinderhook E.C. Church, 560 Kinderhook Road, Columbia, PA 17512.

There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

 

Russell Alan Miller, 79 formerly of Columbia, passed November 3, 2023 at Oak Leaf Manor North, Landisville PA. He was the loving husband of Mary Lynne Miller with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage in October. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late J. Russell and Helen B. Kauffman Miller.

Russ was a 1961 graduate of Hempfield High School, served six years in the PA National Guard and enjoyed a successful career of over forty years in sales and customer service. He was a lifelong member of the Kinderhook E.C. Church where he attended faithfully. Russ had a love of music and cars along with the uncanny ability to name any song playing as well as the years it was released.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Russ is survived by his wife Mary Lynne; daughter Amy wife of Matthew Rutter; two grandchildren Samantha wife of Garrett Germani; Jordan Rutter and great-grandchildren Harper and Hazel Germani.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kinderhook E.C. Church, 560 Kinderhook Road, Columbia, PA 17512 with Pastor John Baker, officiating. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Kindly omit flowers.

Brenden D. Monte

Brenden enjoyed listening to music.

A service of remembrance will be held later by his family.

 

Brenden D. Monte, 20 of York, passed away on November 2, 2023. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Paul R. Monte (companion Ellen Brickman) and Wendy Lincoln with whom he resided.

Brenden was employed as an auto detailer at Spangler's Auto, East Petersburg and enjoyed listening to music.

In addition to his parents, Brenden is survived by his maternal grandmother, Stacia "Vicki" Lincoln; paternal grandmother, Linda Davidson; sister, Jennifer Strubel; two nieces, Elianna and Harper and Goddaughter, Sofia Bailey.

A service of remembrance will be held later by his family.

Eugene Gilbert

Gene will be greatly missed by all.

 A celebration of Gene’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth & Locust Streets, Columbia with Rev. Dr. Patricia S. McAllister, officiating. All are welcome.

 

Eugene Gilbert, 63, transitioned from Earth to his Heavenly home on November 1, 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in 1959 in Lancaster, PA to the late L.C. and Ruth Gilbert. Eugene was a former resident of Columbia. He was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Columbia. Those who knew him called him, Gene.  He did lawn care services and handy work in the Columbia area.

Gene will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Gene is survived by two daughters, Destiny Gilbert of Manheim Township, PA and Jada Shirley of Columbia, PA; one son, Eli “Lottie” Gilbert of York, PA; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends; brothers, Luke Gilbert, Warren Gilbert and Bruce Gilbert; sisters, Ruth Mae Colon, Christine Gilbert, Joyce Gilbert all of Columbia, PA and Brenda Graham of Kannapolis, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents L.C. Gilbert and Ruth; brother, Tommy Jankans and sister, Rosalie Gilbert.

 A celebration of Gene’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth & Locust Streets, Columbia with Rev. Dr. Patricia S. McAllister, officiating. All are welcome.

James A. Kaufhold, Jr.

James always made people smile with his presence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Columbia, PA.

A visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.   

Final commendation and farewell will be in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery with full military honors by Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard and VET 21 Gun Salute.

 

James Kaufhold, Jr., 87, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 29th, 2023. He was born in Columbia to the late James, Sr. and Hazel Kaufhold. He was a life time resident of Columbia.

He worked for Nissan Foods as an accountant where he retired. After retirement, he worked part-time as a custodian at the Columbia School District.  James was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Catholic War Vets. He served in the United States Navy and the National Guards. He loved watching METV and listening to Ana Cani sing from the Lawrence Welk show. He loved to sing in Spanish, German and Latin.

James enjoyed going to the woods for many get togethers with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly. James always made people smile with his presence.

James is survived by his children, Kimberly Hammer wife of Michael Hammer, Sr., of Windsor, and James P. Kaufhold III. fiancé of Tracy Rettig, of Columbia; 3 grandchildren, Michael Hammer, Jr. husband of Mary Ellen Hammer, of Wrightsville, Codey Hammer husband of Viktoria Hammer, of Wrightsville and Sean Garbey husband of Brittany Garbey, of Lititz; his brothers, Leo, Mike, Greg, Joe and his sister, Floss. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marion of 50+ years and his brother William.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA with Rev. Fr. Daniel Mitzel, Celebrant. Donald "Granny" Arndt

His memory will live on and he will be missed.

Donald "Granny" Arndt, 73, of Columbia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 25th. He was born on March 8th,1950 to the late Harry Arndt and Audrey Taylor Arndt.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tracy Wile Arndt, two children, Jamie Scott Arndt and Holly Lynn Arndt, granddaughter, Kali Ann Arndt, and sister, Delores Buchanan. He was predeceased by his sister, Betty Grove.

Granny, a 1968 Columbia High School graduate, proudly served his country from 1969-1976 in The National Guard and Army Reserve (SPEC 5).  He was employed at Fabral Inc. for 51 years, and recently, in October of 2023, the Fabral Inc. of Lancaster building had been renamed to "The Donald 'Donnie' Arndt Manufacturing Facility".

 He was an avid Penn State football fan and a member of Chickies Rock Moose, The Lions Club, Sunsnappers, Columbia-Middletown Elks, Columbia VFW, Columbia American Legion, Blue White Mountain Lodge, and St. John's Lutheran Church.  Don, beloved by many friends, family, co-workers and community, was also a Columbia Boys Athletic Association basketball coach and a Columbia High School girls’ basketball coach.

His memory will live on and he will be missed. 

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth and Locust Streets, Columbia, PA with Rev. Richard Whitesel, officiating.  A visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The family request that flowers be omitted. Martin P. Daly

Marty honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Martin P. Daly, 84, of St. Anne’s Retirement Community passed away of natural causes on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from St. Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City, NJ in 1957 and subsequently earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Detroit in 1962, followed by a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in hydraulics from Northwestern University and a second Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on environmental engineering from New York University. Marty honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Marty was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Daly, whom he married on February 19, 1966 and who predeceased him on May 23, 2022.

Certified as a Professional Engineer in several Mid-Atlantic states, Marty was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and by engineering firms in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, with responsibilities for regional water supply, transmission, distribution, and treatment. Mid-career, he and his family moved temporarily to Amman, Jordan, where he was resident project manager in the area of water resources for the city of Zarqa.

Marty is survived by his daughters, Fayanne Hooning (John) of Evergreen, CO and Catherine Wimpsett (Wessley) of York, PA, and by his son, Joseph Daly (Mary Frances) of Alexandria, VA, as well as by his five grandchildren, Johnny and Jake Hooning and James, Henry, and William Daly. He is also survived by his sisters, Lucille Vergano of Mount Arlington, NJ and Elizabeth McGrory (Jack Dempsey) of Greenville, SC.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, located at 409 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA. Bruce E. "Skypilot" Donaldson

A man who loved his family and his country; Ranger pride ran through every choice he made. 

 

On Friday, October 6th, 2023 Bruce Edward Donaldson was called home by his lord and savior. The second son of Geraldine and Patrick Isenbarger.

Survived by long-time partner Laretha Kraft; siblings Robert & Lea Donaldson, Roger & Mary Isenbarger, and Kathy & James Hogan; children Christopher Donaldson, James Donaldson, Monica Bollinger, and Todd Donaldson; and grandchildren Noah & Jarrod Bollinger, Gabriel, Lucia, and Christian Donaldson. 

Retired Army Ranger, Skypilot, as he was more commonly known, served 21 years. A proud Vietnam Veteran he earned the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, a Bronze Star Medal, and a Purple Heart among many other commendations.

After his esteemed military career, Skypilot went to both work for and eventually retire from the United States Postal Service.  He was a life member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club. A man who loved his family and his country; Ranger pride ran through every choice he made.

Jerome O. "Romie" Burg, Jr.

Romie had too many hobbies to list, but enjoyed photography, fishing, wood working and cooking.

Jerome O. “Romie” Burg, Jr., 61, of East Prospect passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Beth with whom he would have celebrated 27 years of marriage this month. Jerome was born in Columbia to Jerome, Sr. and Janet Kriner Burg. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Travis M. Burg; Travis’ fiancée, Brianna Spencer; his brother, Steven Burg; and his best friend and brother-in-law, Harry Witmer, with whom he shared his love of music. 

Jerome was a 1979 graduate of Eastern High School where he was voted “best smile”. He had too many hobbies to list, but enjoyed photography, fishing, wood working and cooking.  Jerome will be missed every day.

Annabelle R. Vecero

Annabelle R. Vecero, 92, of York, passed away at home on October 2, 2023. Born in Hellam Township, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Miriam (Armold) Wallick. She was the wife of the late John M. Vecero, Sr.

Annabelle graduated from Wrightsville High School in 1948 and was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. She was a retired sewer who worked at a variety of sewing factories, and enjoyed being a homemaker. Annabelle enjoyed crafts, especially painting, watching the Game Show Network, and traveling.

Annabelle is survived by her children: John M. Vecero, Jr., husband of the late Beverly; Darlene Swartzbaugh, partner of Edwin Keefer; and Louetta, wife of Ray Hilt; her grandchildren: Mark, Jay, Mickie, Kelly, and John, III.; brother Lloyd E. Wallick, Jr. and sisters:  Joan wife of Ray Paxson and Doris Crowl.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Tricia, Robin and Barry; a brother Kerwin J. Wallick, and sisters Mary Griffin, Lois Wallick, and Julia Wallick.

A Memorial Service will be held for Annabelle at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1502 Fourth Avenue, York, PA 17403, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Grant Ambrose will be officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Interment will be on Monday, October 9th at 11:00 AM at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in Columbia. Craig M. Diehl

Services will be private. A time to visit with Craig’s family and a short prayer service will take place on Saturday, October 7th at Yorkana Fire Hall (42 Main Street, Yorkana, PA 17406) from 11:00 to 1:00. Lunch will be provided.

Craig Michael Diehl, 68, passed away on September 27, 2023. Craig was born on July 24, 1955 in Columbia, PA to the late Daniel and Erma Diehl. Craig is survived by his brother, Ronald Diehl and his wife Carol; two sons and their spouses, David and Lynn Diehl, Chris and Sherri Diehl; ex-wife and close personal friend, Kathy Diehl, and two grandchildren, Alicia and Connor Diehl. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Diehl and his wife Lyda, and a grandson, Michael Diehl.

Craig’s childhood in Columbia was a happy one, full of adventure and fun. After graduation, he attended trade school to become a tool and die maker, retiring from the field in 2014. He had a variety of interests during his life that included ham radio, biking, and technology. Craig knew “how things worked” and often got calls from others regarding how to handle computer problems and repair most household appliances. He loved all of his family but especially enjoyed having fun and teasing his grandchildren. His love of hawks made him feel a special connection to his mother when he spotted one. We now think of him, and others we have lost every time we see a hawk.

Arrangements are by Clyde W. Kraft Funeral home. Services will be private. A time to visit with Craig’s family and a short prayer service will take place on Saturday, October 7th at Yorkana Fire Hall (42 Main Street, Yorkana, PA 17406) from 11:00 to 1:00. Lunch will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Craig’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army.

Judith E. Anderson

Judith E. Anderson, 73, of Columbia, passed away on September 26, 2023. Born in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Louis (Conrad) Stoutzenberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anderson in 2009.

Judy was well known in Columbia for her job as a cashier at Burger King. She was an active member of Grace E.C. Church in Columbia and lifetime member of the Columbia No. 1 Fire Company. She enjoyed playing Bingo and watching the Dallas Cowboys, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Judy is survived by her children, Charles B. Anderson, Jr., husband of Shari; Michael S. Anderson; Nikki R. Anderson; her grandchildren, Devon, Emily, Seth, and Juliana; and her grandpup, Gracie. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Aleam Stoutzenberger, and her sister, Gloria Fisher.

There will be a viewing for Judy at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral Services will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

Maj. (Ret.) Raleigh B. (Buddy) Power

Buddy's greatest joys were golfing with his close group of friends, fishing, singing in the Christ United Methodist Church Choir, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Maj. (Ret.) Raleigh B. (Buddy) Power, 93 of Lancaster, formerly of Mobile, AL passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Homestead Village. He was the husband of Mary Jean Power with whom he was married 73 years. Born in Columbus, GA, he was the son of the late Hugh and Carolyn Durrough Power.

Buddy had a decorated Army military career of 23 years, including tours of duty in Thailand and Vietnam where he received 3 Bronze Star and 2 Purple Heart awards for his service. Following military retirement Buddy's career shifted to law enforcement, retiring in 1996 from the Alabama Liquor Control Board with 20 years of service. Buddy loved helping people and was very involved in the Optimist Club, Boys and Girls Club, Masons, and the Shriners organizations. Buddy's greatest joys were golfing with his close group of friends, fishing, singing in the Christ United Methodist Church Choir, and spending quality time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Buddy is survived by his children, Guy H. husband of Takako Power; Raleigh B. Jr. husband of Sue Power; Valerie wife of Brian Springer; grandsons, Mackenzie and Richard Power; Andrew, Scott (Rayme) and Kevin Springer. A brother Bobby Power preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 247 Main St., Landisville, PA 17538 on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Weigel, officiating. There will be no public viewing, however the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Major J. Gilbert

A beloved man, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, mentor, uncle, cousin and friend, Major will be remembered for his sweet spirit, love of life, passion for family, sense of humor, understanding, and love he generously gave.  His precious memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Major James Gilbert, 77 of Columbia PA, passed away September 18, 2023 at the Wellspan York Hospital after a brief battle with lung cancer. Born in Oconee County, SC on July 28, 1946, Major was the son of the late Rosemond Sr., and Margaree Holden Gilbert and a baptized member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in York PA.  He graduated from William Penn Senior High School in York PA.  

Major was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, an accomplished gardener, a Nationally recognized marble champion, a lifelong fisherman, and horse racing enthusiast. His quick wit and charm was truly golden.

A beloved man, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, mentor, uncle, cousin and friend, Major will be remembered for his sweet spirit, love of life, passion for family, sense of humor, understanding, and love he generously gave.  His precious memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Major is survived by his children and grandchildren, two sisters (Anna Whitted of Dover, Dorothy (Dot), wife of Keenan Preston of York), two brothers (Rosemond (Yak) Jr., husband of Joanne Gilbert of York, and Jerry Gilbert of York), Maternal Aunt (Myra Forrester of Silver Spring, MD), and a host of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Isiah Gaines, Harold Gaines, Robert Long, Frank Gilbert, and Marie Boatwright.

William "Bill" Keiser

His laugh and personality would fill up a room while telling all of his stories.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced by his family.

 

William “Bill” Keiser, Jr., 82, a lifelong native of Columbia passed away on September 18, 2023. He was the son of the late William, Sr. and Clara Keiser.

Bill had two siblings, Janet Keiser and Bonnie (Keiser) Karr who both preceded him in death. He was married to the late Bonnie (Lutman) Keiser who passed away in 2015. Bill leaves behind his son, William, III of Wrightsville; two step-daughters, Mindy, wife of Steven Blasick of Columbia and Marcie Briel of Columbia.

Bill was a lifetime member of the Amvets post 153 and the Hambones Social Club. He was liked by many and loved to be around his friends having a good time. His laugh and personality would fill up a room while telling all of his stories. Bill proudly served in the United States Army as a combat engineer from 1958 – 1961.

Pepper attended Columbia High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 – 1971 and served in Vietnam from 1970 – 1971.

Christian burial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Clyde W. Kraft funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

He will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in a private service.

 

Lester “Pepper” Kauffman, 73, of Mountville passed away on September 18, 2023. He was born in Columbia to the late Harry and Kathryn Schoelkoph Kauffman and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Pepper attended Columbia High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 – 1971. He served in Vietnam from 1970 – 1971 and during this time was exposed to Agent Orange which was a direct cause of his death. Pepper joined the Army National Guard and served from 1984 – 1986. Following his service, he worked as a foreman with Amtrak until his retirement. Pepper was a lifetime member of the Columbia VFW post 2435 and the Marietta American Legion post 466. He was an avid fisherman of bass and trout. Pepper was a faithful member of Columbia Presbyterian Church.

Pepper leaves behind his wife Kim Morrow of Mountville; three children, Greg Kauffman of Arlington, WA, Brandi Tisdale of Honey Brook, Kriste McManus of York; four grandchildren; a sister, Margaret

“Peggi” Donnan of Columbia; Niece, Donna Gearhart of Mountville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hank and Debbie Morrow of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Donnie Donnan.

Elizabeth R. Sipe Shank

A celebration of Betty’s life will be planned at a later date to be determined by her family.

Elizabeth ‘Betty’ R. Sipe Shank, 80, of Columbia, passed away on September 16, 2023.  Betty was born in Lancaster to the late Paul and Myrtle Sipe.

Betty is survived by her children, Anthony husband of Jan, Jeffrey Sr., husband of Sherry of Columbia, Tina wife of Shawn McGurk of Lebanon and Sandy Currier of Manheim. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Jody Shank.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and her sister Jean Slinkman of Akron.   A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Leonard "Len" William Urey

In honor of Len’s final wishes there will be no formal services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and will be announced by his family.

Leonard “Len” William Urey, 67, of Wrightsville passed away on September 14, 2023. He was born in Columbia to the late Robert and Velma Urey and was a lifelong resident of this area. Len was a graduate of Eastern York High School with the Class of 1974. He worked for many years with Sonoco Corrflex before his eventual retirement. Len served with the Wrightsville Fire and Rescue Company 41 beginning in 1974 and held the position of Chief from 1998 – 2008.  He loved helping people and spending time with his beloved wife Sandy. Len was an avid Chicago Bears and New York Yankees fan. He was of the Lutheran faith.

Len leaves behind his wife of forty-seven years Sandy Urey of Wrightsville; two siblings, Roberta Thomas of Wrightsville and Roger Strausbaugh of Delaware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Urey.

In honor of Len’s final wishes there will be no formal services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and will be announced by his family. Joanne R. Stotz

Although she enjoyed attending her Silver Sneaker’s activities, her family and church where most important in her life.

Joanne R. Stotz, 81 of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Stotz, Sr. with whom she was married 41 years until his death in 2000. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Esther Schmook Brommer.

Joanne was employed as a hatchery manager at Nolt’s Ponds in Silver Spring for 32 years and later at That Fish Place, Lancaster. Although she enjoyed attending her Silver Sneaker’s activities, her family and church where most important in her life.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Fisher (late Scott); Harold J. Stotz, Sr. (Doretta); Steven Stotz (Diane); Jody Miltenberger (late Gary); six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Jack R. Brommer, Sr.; William Brommer and sister Linda Cramer; her siblings, Mary Lou Sipe, Esther Gochenaur, Margaret Witmer, Janet Boyles and Wilma Kuhn preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 151 Orange St. Mount Joy PA 17552 on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Jonathan Bixler and Andrew Dean, officiating. Family and friends may view at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joanne’s memory may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church at the above address.

Nichole M. Wiseman

A private interment will be held at a later date. 

Nichole Marie Wiseman joined her mom on September 6, 2023. She was born July 9, 1972 to the late Garry L. Wiseman and Marie K. Nikolaus Wiseman in Columbia PA. Her Elementary years were at St. Peter's School, Columbia and she graduated from Columbia High School. Nicky enjoyed staying in touch with family and friends over social media. In spite of her own personal struggles, she was very caring to others, often to a fault. Nichole leaves behind her brother, Garry L. Wiseman Jr, his wife Molly, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nichole's memory can be made to Our Lady of the Angel's School, 404 Cherry Street, Columbia or the American Diabetes Association.

Kenneth T. Mable

A Harley Davidson enthusiast he enjoyed riding and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.

 

Kenneth T. Mable, 58 of Columbia, passed away on September 6, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was the husband of Lori Wimer Mable with whom he was married 37 years. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Kenneth V. and Jane Hanrahan Mable.

Kenny was a welder having been employed for 29 years at the former A&L Doors Columbia and most recently at H.C Quality Doors. A Harley Davidson enthusiast he enjoyed riding and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of all he relished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kevin husband of Ashley Mable; Britney Mable; Patrick husband of Katrina Mable; eight grandchildren; brother Michael Mable and sister Deborah Mable.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 1899 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
