Naomi M. Roehm, 95, formerly of Landisville, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at her residence at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim. She was the wife of the late Vincent P. Roehm with whom she was married 58 years until his death in 2002. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Annie Breitigan Waltz.
Naomi was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Lancaster. She retired after 25 years of working in the Hempfield H. S. cafeteria. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and nanny who was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Naomi is survived by her children, Patricia, wife of Terry Stringfellow, Hatfield PA; Carolyn, wife of Michael Craig, Houston, TX; Charles, husband of Darlene Roehm, Manheim, PA; five grandchildren, Matthew, husband of Marcie Stringfellow, Plano, TX; Gregory, husband of Lisa Stringfellow, Hatfield, PA; Lynn, wife of Chris McGrew, Houston, TX; Kristen, wife of Gareth Jones, Norfolk, U. K.; Julia Roehm, Lancaster, PA; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Kara Stringfellow. She is survived by her brother Norman Waltz. Seven siblings preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00 a. m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Naomi’s memory to the Benevolent Fund of Pleasant View Retirement Community, 544 N. Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
