Anna S. Kiscaden, 96, of Columbia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 15, 2024. A 1943 graduate of Columbia High School, she was employed as a secretary for the Columbia Borough School District.
Anna was a woman of faith, great values, and generosity. She enjoyed going shopping, spending time and visiting with her family and friends, vacationing in Ocean City, NJ with her family, Auntie Anne’s soft pretzels, and hot fudge sundaes from Dairy Queen. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and compassionate person and friend to many. Born in Columbia, Anna was the daughter of the late Walter and Elva Kauffman Splain. She was married for fifty-four years on May 7, 2003 to the late Russell L. Kiscaden.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances, married to Scott Hoffman of Columbia and Sue, married to Lewis Bowser, Jr. of Lititz; a son, Thomas, married to Pamela Kiscaden of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell L. Kiscaden and one sister, Doris Tavaglione.
