Services: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512.
The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Burial will follow at Washington Boro Cemetery.
Brenda F. Fritz, 80, of Columbia passed away on April 15, 2025. She was born in York to the late Robert and Olivia Krebs and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Brenda was a graduate of Northeastern High School with the Class of 1962. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family, especially riding trains through Germany and surrounding countries. Brenda loved attending theater shows and plays including her grandchildren’s musicals. She was former vice president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna Fire Company, Columbia Borough Fire Dept. 80 (Hambones). Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Brenda leaves behind her husband of sixty-one years, Ron Fritz of Columbia; four children, Ron, Jr., husband of Michelle Fritz of Dunedin, FL, Keith, husband of Susan Fritz of Columbia, Mark, husband of Leslie Fritz of Columbia, Denise, wife of Kevin Weachter of Landisville; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Ron III, Riley, Mason, Mackenzie, Krystal, and Brody; two great grandchildren, Heyden and Peyton; three siblings, Lona, wife of Darryl Oyler of Saginaw, Rena, wife of Larry Miller of Saginaw, Robert Krebs of Mount Wolf; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family; her beloved dog, Max. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Scott Fritz.
Services for Brenda will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Washington Boro Cemetery.
