Carol M. Frey, 79, of Columbia passed away on April 15, 2025. She was born in Columbia to the late Theodore and Josephine Shellenberger and was a lifelong resident of Columbia.
Carol was a graduate of Columbia High School with the Class of 1964 and worked with the former Wyeth Labs until her retirement. She was a member of the VFW Post #2435 Ladies Auxiliary and Chickies Rock Moose Lodge #307. Carol loved to prepare food for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Carol leaves behind two children, Rhonda, wife of Angel Ramos of Columbia, Matt, husband of Elizabeth Fischer of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Alex, Ashton, Christopher, Antonio, and Angelise; nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Frey; her son, Ronnie Fischer, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tyler Fischer and Brittany; three brothers, Ted, Harold, and Gary Shellenberger.
