Bruce enjoyed fishing in the Outer Banks, all things Notre Dame, and the Minnesota Vikings.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
Bruce L Murray, 49, of Columbia peacefully went home with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Bruce L Murray, Sr. and Christine and Dave Henise of Willow Street.
Bruce had many accomplishments in his life. He received his bachelor degree in culinary arts from the Baltimore culinary Institute. He worked at some of the finest restaurants in Lancaster County. After leaving the restaurant industry, he started his career in the oil and HVAC business, then in 2008 he created one of his biggest accomplishments, Elite Energy in Columbia, which he took a lot of pride in. He was also the owner of the former Brucekies Pub in Columbia. Bruce was a member of the Columbia Fraternal Association, Foresters of America, and Lower Club in Wrightsville. He was an active member in his community. Bruce had tremendous love for his family and impacted everyone who knew him. Bruce enjoyed fishing in the Outer Banks, all things Notre Dame, and the Minnesota Vikings.
Bruce is survived by his wife and one true love Jane Young Murray, of 24 years, a daughter Gracie Murray, who was the absolute light of his life. Two step daughters Lauren Roye of Marietta and Laraine, wife of David Gray of Columbia, three grandchildren, Chase, Aydrian, Ariana, who he adored very much. Brother Clinton Murray of Columbia, and two sisters, Stephanie Reddick of York and Kaitlin Henise of Willow Street and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father Bruce L Murray, Sr.
