Lois E. Hake, 87, of Columbia, PA, peacefully passed away on March 27th at Masonic Villages. Born the youngest of twelve children to the late Howard Gable and Mary Charleston, Lois was known for her vibrant spirit, love for animals, and joyful presence. She cherished simple pleasures, soaking up the sun while tending to her garden, playing card games with friends, training her dogs, and working through crossword puzzles with sharp wit and a smile. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family. Lois will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet strength, and the gentle way she made those around her feel loved.
Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald L. Hake, her son, Keith B. Hake, and her eleven siblings: Harold, William, Gerald, Harry, Donald, Richard, James, Robert, Joseph, Jack and Mary Lou.
She is lovingly survived by her two grandchildren, Jessica Hake, Columbia, PA , and Krista Ray of Ephrata, PA, as well as three great-grandchildren, Ella Ray, Asa Ray, and Adalynne Ray.
