Irvin Eugene Ney, Jr., of Clearville, PA, known by most as Butch or Bubba, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his father Irvin Eugene Ney, Sr., his mother, Carrie Mae Ney, his younger sister, Pamela M. Ney, and his nephew, Jose A. Rosario, Jr.
Irv is survived by his sister Marydrue L. Acevedo. He was the proud father of 3 sons, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons. Irv attended Hempfield High School. He loved to travel and spend time in the Great Smokey Mountains with his family. Irv was a ladies’ man and was loved by many. He worked as an equipment operator for the International Union of Equipment Operators for many years.
Irv will be missed dearly.
There will be a celebration of life on June 15th at Fairview Park, 557 Norwood Rd, Columbia, PA 17512 for friends and family at noon, additionally, there will be a graveside memorial service on June 16th at Maytown Union Cemetery, 133 E. High St., Maytown, PA 17547 at 2:00 pm.
