Samuel D. Grove, 41 formerly of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.  Born in Lancaster and raised in Columbia, he was the son of Samuel G. Jr. and Linda Misel Grove of Columbia.

Sammy graduated from Hempfield High School in 2000 and enjoyed swimming, video games, riding dirt bike, roller and ice skating, fishing, reading the Bible with his mom along being an ardent fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to his parents are his sisters, Abby wife of Steven Henry, Jr. Columbia; Shannon Grove, Lancaster and two nieces, Leighann Grove and Mya Claire Henry. Aunts, uncles and numerous cousins also survive.

A memorial service will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark S. Kopp, officiating. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive fiends one hour prior to the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org
